Cornell Dragon Boat Club
About us
Founded around 6 years ago, the Cornell Dragon Boat Club brings together students through the exciting sport of dragon boating. We practice on Cayuga Lake and occasionally compete in events across the U.S. and internationally. Our team trains alongside the Ithaca Dragon Boat Team, a top-tier club with 21 years of experience that has competed around the world.

What is Dragon Boat?
Dragon boating is an exciting, adrenaline-pumping water sport where teams of 20 paddlers race in large canoe-like boats. Like rowing, athletes may choose to paddle recreationally, competitively, or both. Races take place across the world, with the sport in over 60 countries especially in North America, Europe, and Asia.
